About the position

We are in search of a Development Manager who is deeply committed to nurturing excellence in their team members and has a strong technical background.

You will be at the forefront of shaping the future of our international development team. Guiding them through career development, enhancing our collaborative culture, and optimising our operational processes. You will be the key to successful collaboration across our cross-functional teams.

As Development Manager in Admincontrol you will be part of the R&D management group with a focus on developing, aligning, and executing strategies.

Responsibilities and Tasks:

• Guide the development team in achieving their career goals through regular follow-ups and personalised development plans.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Follow up on all personnel related matters.
• Work closely with other department heads to align strategic initiatives.
• Be proactive in identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation.
• Responsible for staff recruitment and overseeing the onboarding process.
• Open line of communication with members of the Support team.
• Prioritising the maintenance of a stable production environment, swiftly addressing any issues that arise.

Requirements and personal qualities

• Formal education in IT.
• Experience may compensate for a lack of formal education.
• Proven results of successfully leading a team of developers.
• Have a good overview of the organisation, its technologies, and its products.
• Experience of product development and software development process.
• Commercial understanding.
• The ability and desire to collaborate, communicate, inspire, and motivate.
• Ability to change and adapt to new demands and expectations in the role.
