To strengthen our team, Aker Solutions team in Fornebu is looking for a Package Responsible Buyer (PRB) who can help us succeed.

What will you be doing? 

You will be working as Package Responsible Buyer together with other colleagues in the Valhall PWP Execute project, your responsibility includes but not limited to the following:

• Package Responsible Buyer (PRB) for complex equipment packages
• Responsible for all procurement and execution activities for the electrical packages under EICT scope in the project on behalf of ABB alliance partner
• Prepare and develop procurement strategies
• Sourcing and pre-qualification of potential suppliers
• Prepare and issue enquiries and perform bid evaluations
• Negotiate contracts and purchase orders
• Ensure timely deliveries in accordance with budget and schedule
• Ensure that all activities are performed according to procedures
• Follow-up, control and report progress on contracts
• Report and manage risks
• Develop and maintain supplier relations

We think you should have some of the following:

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
• Relevant experience in EICT procurement (mostly electrical packages)
• At least five years of experience with project procurement
• Experienced with procurement/sales of equipment packages
• Solid multi-discipline understanding and commercial skills
• Good understanding of customer needs
• Solid communication skills
• Able to work independently with minimal need for support
• Proactive and flexible, with a team-player attitude
• Flexible and solution-oriented mindset
• Software skills: High ERP knowledge, MIPS, SAP & ProARC knowledge, general Microsoft skills
• Fluent English, written and spoken

Working location: Fornebu, Oslo
Contract duration: August 2025 with option for extension
