Building Engineer

The position

• Be responsible for planning and execution of operation and maintenance activities together with vendor(s). 

• Follow up deliveries from Subject Matter Experts (SME) in own team. 

• Have a role in advising vendor(s), internal customers as well as own team. 

• Develop operation and maintenance (O&M) for the future and promote sustainability, innovation, and digital solutions. 

• Have an active role in forecasting and following up costs. 

• Have a supporting role for real estate projects.

The main responsibility will be to structure and follow up vendor deliveries of O&M of buildings at onshore plants and bases in Norway.

• Master's degree within building and operational subjects or similar.

• More than 5 years of relevant experience. 

• Competence within Norwegian Standard (Norsk Standard), Internal Control Regulations (Internkontrollforskriften), Construction Client Regulations (Byggherreforskriften) and other relevant laws and regulations. 

• Good knowledge of Life-Cycle Assessment (LCA), Life-Cycle Cost (LCC). 

• Knowledge of BREEAM In-use and sustainability reporting. 

• Ability to understand and manage risk. 

• Strong communication skills, and a team player with the ability to handle multiple tasks and stakeholders. 

•  A structured, curious, and self-driven learner with a holistic approach to complex challenges. 

• Good written and oral communication skills, both in English and Norwegian.
