Key Responsibilities 

  • Act as an integral member of the project management team by producing detailed project plans, timelines, and milestone plans to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Manage novel project timelines for an investment portfolio by readily reflecting ongoing changes in the plans.
  • Develop and maintain an integrated plan of all project activities, enabling detailed progress reporting as well as look-ahead prognosis to executive leadership and ensuring all stakeholders are aligned and informed.
  • Take a proactive role in accelerating project delivery by facilitating effective collaboration among engineers, the site team, and subcontractors, and by establishing strong communication pathways.
  • Perform thorough analyses to accurately assess resource requirements and strategize project planning to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Identify potential risks and bottlenecks to the project schedule early and devise and implement robust mitigation strategies in collaboration with the project management team to minimize impact.

Essential Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related field (Master degree beneficial)
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project planning, preferably in the petrochemical / oil & gas sector, or related industries.
  • High proficiency in planning tools, demonstrating the ability to leverage technology for project planning and execution.
  • Fluency in English and a Scandinavian language, both spoken and written.
