Instrument - EIT Engineer

Tasks and responsibilities

• Tasks and responsibility may include- but not limited to:
• Instrument and telecom field engineering and verification
• Preparation of instrument design documents (layouts, hook-ups, block diagrams, etc.).
• Field surveys in order to identify installation method, placement of instruments, trays and cable routing.
• Follow-up multidiscipline documentation. 
• Preparation and maintenance of engineering work packs and MTO. 
• Updating of LCI requirements.
• Follow up activities and scope for construction within the discipline in accordance with the contract specifications 
• Follow up Instrument MC in compliance with the project and HSEQ requirements
• Interface with Construction for issues that may arise during installation
• HAZID and HAZOP and other HSEQ related reviews 
• Review Client's technical documentation and requirements 

Qualifications:

• BSc/MSc in Automation/EIT or other relevant technical education. Technical College with long relevant experience may be adequate.
• Min 3 - 5 years' experience with offshore EIT installations and requirements, herby layout design in offshore and onshore projects, preferably within O&G projects
• Experience and knowledge of EIT layout design according to relevant standards such as NORSOK, ATEX, PTIL and IEC
• Experience in as-builts of tags and drawings
• Experience in supplier co-ordination and follow-up.
• Preferable good experience with PDMS/AVEVA E3D
• FSE/Ex course
• Multidiscipline understanding
• Ability to work both in teams and independently
• Systematic and organized

Workplace:

Bergen or Trondheim, but other locations can also be relevant.
