SAS Engineer

Tasks and responsibility

• Design and integration of Safety Automation Systems, hereby system design of process, utility, and electrical systems, such as interfaces and HMI input.
• Fire and gas safety reviews.
• Review of system- and solutions design for equipment packages and electrical automation systems, in accordance with client's requirements.
• Specify, dimension, and integrate process control and monitoring systems, fire and gas detection, and protection/shutdown systems, including field devices and safety shutdown systems.
• Monitor vendors and review of vendor technical documentation.
• Prepare engineering documents, work packages and MTO-lists.
• Coordination and information management in the project interfaces between other disciplines, suppliers, and the client.
• Follow up procurement process for a discipline or multidiscipline procurement package.
• FAT and and other test activities  
• Generate and complete engineering documents and data registers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering.
• Experience with Control Systems/SAS 
• Experience from EPCI projects 
• Preferable experience from all aspect of a SAS system (ESD, PSD, PCS, PDSC, F&G, HMI, IMS, Network etc), hereby developing and maintaining system design documentation
• Experience from installation and Mechanical Completion (MC) of SAS-related equipment and modifications.
• Experience from analysis and calculations according to relevant standards.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
• Work profeciency in Norwegian is preferable.

Workplace:

Bergen or Trondheim, but also Oslo can also be relevant.
