Aker Solutions is looking for a SAS Engineer with experience in onshore or offshore projects. The project is based in Kristiansund and will be led from there.

Position Responsibilities:

• Act as SAS engineer and PRE in EPCI modification and/or maintenance contracts.
• Responsible for SAS system design and integration.
• Design process and utility systems (interface, FS, SCD, and HMI input).
• Follow up on system design for equipment packages and electrical automation systems.
• Develop solutions in accordance with client requirements.
• Monitor vendors and vendor technical documentation; participate in test activities/FAT.
• Ensure identification and communication of vendor and engineering information crucial for work progress to project interfaces, other disciplines, suppliers, and clients.
• Generate engineering documents and data registers.
• Prepare engineering documents, including C&E, SCDs, ESD/PSD Block logic, and work packages.

• Relevant bachelor's degree.
• Minimum 5 years of engineering experience.
• Expertise in process control, monitoring, fire and gas detection, and protection/shutdown systems.
• Fluent in English both written and oral.
• Proven responsibility for disciplines or multidiscipline procurement package.
• Supportive during SAS-related equipment installation and MC.
• Proficient in system design documentation and specifications.
• Skilled in IEC 61508/61511 analysis and calculations.
• Competent in translating process functionality to suppliers.
• Experience in supplier documentation verification.
• Ability to understand input documentation from various disciplines (process, electrical, safety).
