OSM Thome is seeking an experienced instrument technician (ETO) to join our team on Heidrun B, Offshore FSU unit in Norway. As an instrument technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting all electrical and electronic systems on board.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of electrical equipment, including generators, motors, and control systems
Troubleshoot and repair electrical and electronic systems, ensuring they are in proper working order
Assist in the installation and commissioning of new electrical equipment
Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and procedures

Requirements:

Offshore safety/ BOSIET
TM Lowest grade oil
Valid medical offshore certificate
Minimum 3 years of experience as an Electro Technical Officer on offshore vessels
Strong knowledge of electrical and electronic systems, including generators, motors, and control systems
Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and procedures
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Ability to work well in a team and under pressure
