The tasks you will solve:

  • Design and calculation of installation aids, in steel and aluminium. These could be items such as lifting equipment and hang-off structures
  • Sea fastening design and calculations. Examples are items such as winches and outriggers, and templates and manifolds.
  • You also get to follow up the procurement, fabrication, mobilisation and installation of the equipment you designed. Possibilities to join the installation vessel offshore.


What we want from you:

  • MSc or BSc in Civil or Mechanical engineering, or Marine engineering focused on marine structures.
  • Experience from the marine/offshore industry is preferred.
  • Relevant software experience (e.g. STAAD.pro, ANSYS)
  • Experienced with design according to the Eurocodes and DNV.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Creative problem solving - able to suggest and develop new methods and ways of working.
  • Sound communication skills – able to communicate ideas and results to various stakeholders both in written reports and in meetings, presentations etc.
  • The ability to work in a team as well as individually with a minimum of supervision.
  • The ability to organize and prioritize own work and as such have responsibility for discrete work packages ongoing simultaneously.
  • Understanding of clients’ needs and ability to suggest and apply “fit for purpose” solutions.
  • Able to motivate and contribute to a positive working environment.


The position is based in our top modern office in Skøyen, Oslo.
