Job Purpose
We're currently seeking an Interim Manager for Contracts & Compliance to join our team in Norway due to planned temporary leave. With our continuous growth and expansion, we offer a permanent staff position within your expertise area, with potential transitions to other delivery areas and departments after the one-year interim period.

The role as Interim Manager Contracts & Compliance focuses on ensuring compliant and efficient contract management , enhance operational efficiency and secure contractual profitability. It involves ensuring full compliance with the THREE60 Integrated Management System, client and industry regulations, and standards, while integrating sustainability practices. Building strong stakeholder relationships and using data for informed decision-making are also key aspects of the role. This interim role is an Extended Leadership role with broader responsibilities, for individuals with demonstrated leadership skills and performance excellence.

The permanent role assigned to you after the interim period will be based on your background, skill set, and career aspirations for professional development.

Key Responsibilities for the Interim Manager role
  • Contract Management: 
    • Lead the development, negotiation, and management of contracts with clients, suppliers (incl. subcontractors) and partners, ensuring alignment with company policies and legal requirements. 
    • Collaborate with various departments, including ‘Technology’, ‘Operations’, and ‘Finace’, to review contract terms and conditions, identifying potential risks and mitigations. 
    • Monitor contract performance, enforce compliance, and initiate corrective actions when necessary. 
 
  • Regulatory Compliance: 
    • Oversee and manage system for effectively monitor changes to industry regulations, laws, and standards relevant to our operations, and communicate changes to relevant stakeholders. 
    • Support the development and implementation of compliance strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure the organization's adherence to changes relevant regulations. 
    • Conduct regular compliance audits and assessments in collaboration with the HSEQ&S team, addressing any gaps or areas of improvement. 
 
  • Sustainability Initiatives: 
    • Lead the integration of sustainability principles into the organization's operations, promoting environmentally friendly practices and social responsibility related to Contract Management. 
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for reducing the organization's carbon footprint, minimizing waste, and enhancing sustainability performance though Contract Management. 
    • Oversee the reporting of sustainability metrics and progress to internal and external stakeholders related to Contract Management. 
 
  • Stakeholder Engagement: 
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, external partners, regulatory bodies, and industry associations to stay informed about best practices and emerging trends. 
    • Act as a point of contact for inquiries related to contracts and compliance matters. 
 
  • Team Leadership and Development: 
    • Provide mentorship, guidance, and performance feedback to members of the organization, fostering their professional growth and skill development related to Contract Management and Compliance, reinforced by external expertise from other THREE60 Energy entities or ie. legal counsil. There is no personnel responsibility assigned within the Interim role.
 
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: 
    • Collect and analyse data related to contract performance, compliance metrics, and sustainability indicators to identify areas for improvement and inform decision-making. 
    • Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports for Executive Management and external stakeholders, highlighting key achievements and areas requiring attention.

We're seeking an aspiring or experienced leader with knowledge from the Norwegian offshore energy industry. While extensive leadership experience isn't required, we view this interim position as a launching pad for your future growth. If you're ready to take on and manage the significant responsibilities of a leadership role, we're here to support you every step of the way. Nevertheless, certain qualifications and awareness are essential:
 
  • BSc or MSc (or equivalent) within Legal, Business Administration, Contract Management, Sustainable Business, Technical fields or relevant fields.
  • Minimum of 7+ years of experience from the offshore energy industry (or senior level).
  • Proven experience in contract negotiation and management, and risk management.
  • In-depth understanding of industry regulations and compliance strategies for the Norwegian Continental Shelf.  
  • Demonstrated ability to develop Cross-Discipline/Delivery Teams. 
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting for decision-making. 
  • Fluency in English is essential. Fluency in Norwegian is preferred but not a must.
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A team-oriented mindset and a passion for achieving collective goals.
