Engineer – HVAC

HVAC in Harstad is looking to strengthen the team with a new HVAC Engineer. You will play an important part in system design philosophy; design basis for HVAC systems with respect to functional requirements, control philosophy and operational philosophy.

About the position

Are you passionate about creating comfortable and efficient indoor environments? Look no further! We’re seeking an enthusiastic HVAC engineer to contribute to our multidisciplinary team. You’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless coordination between HVAC system design and overall area planning. Put your creativity to work by designing effective ductwork systems that optimize airflow and temperature control.

Responsibilities and tasks include

• Calculations of air flow rate based on ventilation requirement and heat emissions
• Cooling calculations
• Selection of HVAC equipment with regards to capacity and feasibility
• Technical Inquiries for HVAC equipment and Bulk
• Package Responsible Engineer
• Ensure coordination of the HVAC design with other disciplines

Qualifications

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
• Good communication skills in English and Norwegian
• Minimum 1-3 years in HVAC system design or HVAC PRE (Oil & Gas industry experience preferred)
• PDMS/E3D and offshore survey experience can be an advantage
