KONGSBERG Corporate Accounting is seeking a Group Accounting Manager for managing the group consolidation processes. You will be working closely with our financial functions in the business areas, Group Controlling, Group Treasury and Group Tax, and our M&A teams on business transactions, and be part of a team that are continuously making improvements to our reporting and controlling processes.

KONGSBERG Corporate Accounting has the main responsibility for the groups quarterly and annual financial statements, contributes to the monthly financial reporting to the Corporate Management Team and Board of Directors, group target process and group business controlling.

Your main responsibilities:

• Managing the group consolidation process including reconciliation & controls, cash flows, group eliminations and business combination accounting
• Be an important contributor to the quarterly and annually financial statements
• Contribute to the yearly group tax accounting in close dialog with the Group Tax function
• Responsible for the group accounting and reporting of financial instruments in close cooperation with Group Treasury
• Accounting principles: contribute to implementation and compliance with accounting principles
• Accounting system: contribute to seek a high quality and efficient system to register and report financial information
• Advisory: Contribute to identify opportunities to improve the groups accounting function, including use of systems and technology
• Transaction Services: Support the organization on M&A activities, including due diligence, contract negotiations, settlement and integration

 Qualifications and experience:

• Master's Degree within either Accounting & Auditing or Finance
• Minimum 5 years experience acquired from a reputable audit/ advisory firm and/or practical group accounting
• Experience with consolidation applications (HFM, Cognos, etc.), International Accounting Standards (IFRS) and other regulations
• Practical group accounting and experience with complex consolidation
• Working in an international environment with global colleagues and advisors

You have strong financial understanding and analytical skills. You have strong communication skills in Norwegian and English.
