Now we explore opportunities in the aftermarket for renewables, to deliver offshore maintenance for the renewable sector when the market is ready. Aker Solutions employs approximately 11,000 people in more than 20 countries.

Aker Solutions is now looking for a Piping Engineer – Pipe Support with experience from onshore or offshore projects. The project is lead from Bergen.

Position Responsibilities:

• Design and 3D modelling of pipe supports.
• Coordinate the pipe support interfaces as necessary for assigned tasks.
• Participate in offshore surveys as required by the various projects.
• Communication with client.
• Ensure that interfaces towards other disciplines are handled in an efficient way.
• Generate drawings and other documents according to project requirements.

Skills and Levels Description:

• Bachelor- or master’s degree in mechanical science.
• Experience in Pipe support design and structural analysis.
• Knowledge of relevant standards and specifications used in the North Sea.
• Good understanding of ASME B31.3.
• General knowledge within computer technology.
• A commercial mindset, good communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Software Skills: E3D, TIME.
• Good communication skills in English, both verbally and written language.
