About Job

Tietoevry Cards delivers scalable and modular Card as a Service and leading software built by unmatched industry expertise, accelerating the digital transformation of financial institutions.

We are growing and are looking for a Department Manager to lead a dedicated team of Sales and Customer managers and be a part of Tietoevry Banking and the Card services business unit.

As a department manager, you will be responsible for leading and developing a team of Customer Managers who sale Card IT solutions to our customers. You will also be involved in business development, account management, and project management activities. You will report to the Head of Sales and Business Management and be a member of the management team. You will work closely with other managers and stakeholders and be part of a non-hierarchic and passionate management team with strong collaborative culture.


You will have an important role in the growth and development of our customers.


To succeed in this role, you need to have:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire your team.
  • A customer-oriented mindset, with the ability to build long-term relationships and identify new opportunities.
  • A proactive and result-driven attitude, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • A collaborative and flexible approach, with the ability to adapt to changing environments and customer needs.
  • Increase the value of the Customer accounts.


Key responsibilities.

  • Responsible for setting sales goals, developing sales strategies and plans, monitoring and analyzing sales performance.
  • Budgeting and strategy forecast.
  • You will be responsible for a dedicated Nordic portfolio and maintain good relationships with existing and potential clients.
  • You will be the owner of monthly sales meetings, facilitate and prepare.
  • Commercial and agreement responsible.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with customers and partners.
  • Participate and prepare Governance meeting on tactical level.


Who we are looking for.

  • You have a university degree or similar educational background is an advantage but not mandatory.
  • You have good understanding of technology and IT infrastructure and can see the complete picture.
  • You have the ability to produce high-quality content within deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently, flexibly and under pressure.
  • Is a good relationship builder, both internally and externally.
  • You show flexibility in responding to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • You are fluent in Norwegian or Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.
