As our IT Vendor Management specialist, you will be responsible managing the relationships with our IT vendors. KPIs will include cost optimization, service excellence and risk mitigation throughout the contract life cycle.
The candidate will be responsible for negotiating contracts, managing contract structures, monitoring delivery progress, optimizing vendor relationships and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. We are looking for a person with both technical knowledge and commercial orientation. The position will be based at Odfjell’s headquarters in Bergen.

TASKS:

Manage cloud cost control and evolve IT vendor management capabilities.
Act as a trusted SaaS advisor for digital business success.
Negotiate new contracts and manage renewals and modifications with IT vendors.
Oversee SLA, and technical- and commercial deliverables.
Monitor delivery progress and optimize vendor relationships.
Ensure compliance with regulations and facilitate IT General Control Audits.
Develop strategic approaches to IT cost reduction, optimization, and investment.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and align vendor services with organizational objectives.

REQUIREMENTS:

A relevant university degree in IT or a related business discipline.
Min 5 years’ experience within relevant areas.
Good understanding of IT systems and cyber security principles.
Familiar with contract management and legal aspects of vendor relationships.
Capability to categorize vendors, mitigate risks, and establish vendor management capabilities.
Ability to optimize contracts, relationships, and performance for efficient delivery of services.
International work or study experience is considered a plus.
