Aker Solutions is looking for a Structural Engineer - Discipline Lead with experience in onshore or offshore projects. The project is based in Kristiansund and can be led from Aker’s offices in Kristiansund or Trondheim.

Position Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee all Structural engineering activities for the assigned project.
• Prepare man-hour estimates, schedules, and manpower resource requirements to meet project objectives.
• Ensure job progress aligns with the schedule and meets the required quality standards.
• Establish need dates for the assignment of personnel and manage the workload of the Structural team.
• Supervise, assign, and schedule work for the entire structural team on the project.
• Maintain regular contact with clients and collaborate with other Discipline Lead Engineers to facilitate accurate and timely communication.
• Handle additional tasks as needed.

• Higher technical education (MSc or BSc) in a relevant area.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a discipline engineer.
• Fluent in both written and oral English and Norwegian.
• Proficient in relevant design rules and standards.
• Detailed knowledge of PEM, discipline engineering methods & tools, processes, and activities in relevant execution phases.
• Proficient in Time, MIPS, E3D.
• Familiarity with requirements to interface with other disciplines, parties, and EMM best practices.
• Understanding of EMM planning and quality principles, contract, budgeting, change, and risk management.
• Strong management capabilities with proactive communication and coordination skills.
