Our Telecom department in Kristiansund is now looking for a Senior Telecom Engineer.

What will you be doing?

• Participate in projects with the aim to solve future energy solutions and reduce carbon footprint in existing offshore installations
• Work with colleagues, suppliers across the country and across the world to share from your experience and learn from other colleagues, vendors and clients with both similar - and different professions
• Various and challenging tasks in a fast-working environment to gain both Telecom- and multidiscipline technical knowledge and experience in an effective way.

• Bachelor/Master within electronics, communication systems, cyber technology, or similar.
• Several years with experience in highly relevant technical topics can compensate for required education.

• Experience from using NORSOK Standards and knowledge of ATEX / NEK420 requirements.
• Good knowledge in industrial network design and communication systems, including fiber optics and network cabling.
• Good knowledge in systems as radio, alarm, navigation, surveillance and security.
• Interested in understanding the totality of system functions and operability in industrial facilities.

• Interest in following developments in technology and improving work methods
• Excited with the aspect of leading and coaching other engineers
• Commercial mindset, strong work ethics, courageous, open minded and a proactive attitude
• Good communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Familiar with use of Teams and similar digitalized collaboration tools
• Good in English - both written and verbally
