We are currently seeking a dedicated Environmental Coordinator to support our drilling and well operations offshore in Norway!

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work within a supportive colleague network alongside subject matter experts. You will have ample opportunities for collaboration and independent work, contributing to success within environmental initiatives!

The role will locate onshore with sporadic offshore responsibilities.

In this role, your main responsibilities will include:

Providing support, advice, and challenge asset management on environmental management, while staying updated on environmental regulations, requirements, and applicable standards.
Assisting asset management in environmental permit follow-ups.
Preparing authority applications and other documentation, including reporting to relevant authorities and staying informed on operational conditions, contributing to improved environmental efficiency and achieving ambitious targets.
Supporting and advising asset management on climate and environmental risk evaluations, following up on risks as part of integrated risk management.
Participating in environmental improvement projects and engaging in verifications related to environment and climate.

Qualification Requirements

Master's Degree in a relevant subject such as Natural Sciences or Environmental Management. A Bachelor's degree will be considered if accompanied by additional experience.
Previous experience in Oil & Gas drilling and well environment or working in Sustainability or a similarly regulated environment.
Proficiency in both English and Norwegian.
