Legal and compliance officer – Axactor ASA

Axactor is looking for a Legal and compliance officer to join the corporate legal and compliance function at its headquarters in Oslo. Axactor’s global legal and compliance team provides legal advice and supports compliance and risk management across the group. The team consists of about 15 employees globally, of which three are situated in Oslo. The position is situated close to the top management, and reports to the Group legal and compliance director.

As part of this role, you will have the following main responsibilities:

·        Legal and compliance advice

·        Governance, risk, and internal control

·        Contract- and vendor management (incl. negotiations)

·        Data protection

·        Ad-hoc tasks related to wide array of projects, such as M&A transactions, funding, etc.

 Qualifications

·        Norwegian master’s degree in law

·        1-3 years of relevant experience

·        High proficiency in written and spoken Norwegian and English

·        High ethical standards and integrity

·        Great social and communication skills

·        Experience, or interest, in either of the following areas: Contract law, corporate law, employment law, data protection law, or compliance & risk management
