Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Support all commercial aspects of OMV (Norge) operations from wellhead to customer including protection of daily sales and optimization of significant sales revenues
  • Establish and implement commercial strategies in collaboration with OMV internal stakeholders
  • Negotiate and administrate all types of commercial agreements (license, sales, transportation) in compliance with relevant regulations
  • Identify, assess, present and implement commercial opportunities; maximize OMV Norge portfolio’s value through commercial optimization
  • Represent OMV Norge in commercial fora (License commercial committees, shippers’ committees, etc.)
  • Develop and maintain a Norwegian business network covering all aspects of the job
  • Support gas and liquids sales operations and administration when required (back-up to the Sales and Transportation expert)
  • Provide commercial expertise to other OMV departments
  • Deliver presentations and participate in miscellaneous project reviews and analysis

Your profile:

  • Education. University degree Master/ Diploma engineer, business, economics
  • Relevant professional experience: 5-8 years
  • Comprehensive knowledge of and insight to the Norwegian upstream segment and gas transportation system
  • Strong experience from license, oil and gas sales agreements, negotiations, commercial operations, and administration.
  • Well respected within broad industry network in Norway
  • Ability to analyze complex projects that interface with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Comfortable in making independent sound business decisions on short notice with the ability to follow-up and implement
  • Excellent negotiation skills in English (written & spoken)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent inter-personal, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to engage effectively with both internal & external stakeholders
  • Self-driven, positive, and committed attitude, highly organized and resilient
  • Ability to work well in a team
  • MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI)
