We are seeking a Technical Account Manager to join ABB Process Automation Energy Industries (PAEN) and bring their passion and expertise to our esteemed client, Vår Energi, and the Goliat FPSO platform.

The goal for ABB is to deliver first class service to our automation customers. ABB PAEN shall supply skilled and professional resources together with efficient processes and tools for project and service delivery. As a Technical Account Manager, you will hold an important role to drive and further develop customer relations. You will follow the technical development of Goliat FPSO’s safety and automation system, assisting in the choice of optimal technical solutions and evolution strategies for the complete system(s). Your contributions will be pivotal in maintaining plant integrity, optimizing life cycle planning of assets, and spearheading technological advancements. You can work from any ABB PAEN location within Norway: Stavanger, Hammerfest, Oslo, Bergen or Stord.

Your responsibilities

• Serve as the technical authority for contract deliverables.
• Maintain and enhance knowledge of the plant's operational technology.
• Provide strategic input for the plant's life cycle planning and integrity.
• Analyze field alerts and recommend system updates or modifications.
• Manage the Configuration Management and Database Operation (CMDB).
• Approve and oversee SAS modification project work packages.
• Conduct technical verification of bids and quotations.
• Keep the SAS system current with service packs, rollups, and patches.
• Collaborate with ABB's ServiceDesk to resolve technical incidents.
• Contribute to project deliveries, ensuring the highest quality and efficiency.

Your background

• Preferably 5 years' experience at ABB.
• Technical leadership, system expertise or experience with safety systems is advantageous.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting System 800xA, Server/Clients, Backup/restore, Network.
• Exceptional leadership skills and a structured, quality-driven approach.
• A collaborative spirit and excellent communication skills.
• A commitment to high professional integrity.
• Fluency in either Norwegian or English spoken and written is required. Another Scandinavian language will also be considered.
