Are you our new Procurement Specialist?

Delivering a broad assortment of high-quality, affordable groceries to thousands of doorsteps is a complex process, but we believe we’ve cracked the code. Using data-driven methodology, with a focus on sustainability all the way along the chain, we are creating the most efficient retail system in the world. 

We are looking for a Procurement Specialist to join the Procurement team! As a Procurement Specialist at Oda, you play an important role in optimizing product availability, minimizing waste, coordinating tasks, enhancing product flow, and managing orders. You’ll also have close contact with suppliers, conducting forecasts, and fostering efficient communication with various departments to achieve shared objectives.

What you’ll do as Procurement Specialist with us

• You'll maintain high availability and low spoilage by following the teams' KPIs
• Using a long-term perspective, you'll work towards finding new and good solutions and share your experience with the team.
• To achieve the best possible flow of goods, you'll actively work with forecasting for product demand
• You'll follow up on and maintain relationships with suppliers
• You’ll be proactive in developing and implementing new routines for how we procure goods
• Assess and prioritize assignments, and seek inspiration and support from other departments

To be successful, we believe you

• Have a good understanding of numbers and IT systems
• Are structured, analytical, and results-oriented
• Have a positive approach to changes that motivate others.
• As the organization rapidly evolves, you must be comfortable transitioning between routine tasks and new challenges.

The following will probably be helpful

• Experience from working with LEAN and RELEX is beneficial
• You speak and write English and Norwegian fluently 
• Educational background (College or University level) or relevant experience from logistics or supply chain is beneficial
