Are you our new Quality Control Inspector?

TCO has an open position for a Quality Control Inspector (QC Inspector). The position is located at the TCO facility in Indre Arna.

The QC Inspector is responsible for goods reception and approval, production inspection, acceptance of final part/product, calibration and documentation.

Ensure high-level knowledge of relevant sections of ERP (RamBase).

The QC Inspector will report to Team Leader, QC and Production Planning.

Main tasks

• Tasks will normally consist of, but not be limited to:
• Receipt of incoming goods and inspection of parts to production
• Inspection during production
• Final inspection and approval of products
• Follow up measurement tools, pressure gauges etc. and calibrate or send to calibration
• Keep calibration register updated
• Documentation approval
• Assist production with support

Requirements for competences

• Preferable with B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, but more important is work experience with handling of measurement tools with min. 5 years of work relevant experience. Relevant experience and competence can compensate for a lack of formal qualifications
• Operative experience with ERP systems related to QC is preferred, but not required as training will be given
• Systematic, independent and precise
• The candidate we look for is a teamplayer that takes initiative and have the ability to see things through and to work with others
• Good verbal and written formulation in Norwegian and English
