Job Description:

• Execute project procurement activities according to procedures
• Work with technical disciplines to ensure correct technical specifications exist for
  purchase agreements
• Perform package criticality assessments together with technical disciplines
• Chair any Bid Clarification Meetings, ensure minutes are comprehensive and actions
  have responsibility and deadlines
• Negotiate the best total cost situation for Company
• Request and coordinate legal assistance where required 
• Manage and perform audits of sub-suppliers
• Manage and perform audits of purchase in projects
• Report the daily, and project-related, development and progress to section managers,
  purchase manager and project managers
• Ensure a positive cooperation with SCM and the section´s purchase/contract responsible

Qualifications:

• Desired level; Bachelor's Degree Bachelor's MSc/Bsc Degree in relevant discipline area or documented extensive experience in the field
• 2+ years working in offshore oil & gas industry with SCM
• Understanding of operating in international business environment (offshore drilling / oil industry)
• Supplier market knowledge
• Good knowledge of IT tools and systems within area of responsibility
• Knowledge of forms of Guarantees and liquidated damages
• Good knowledge of English, both written and oral, including excellent presentation skills

Personal traits:

• Strong Negotiation and communications skills
• Ability to handle and apply quantitative methods, financial analysis, simulations,
  correlations.
