Our Subsea Area team focusing on designing and engineering subsea process systems is now looking for Senior Piping Engineer. What will you be doing?
- Be the overall responsible for piping discipline within the subsea area department as well as in the projects and studies you will be involved in.
- Leading the piping discipline in studies and also large EPCI projects.
- Continuously improving the way of working with piping within the department.
- Educate, assist and guide designers in designing piping according to codes, standards and best practices
- Reporting to the Layout Manager in projects.
- Assisting with procurement activities for piping
- Interacting with internal and external stakeholders on a technical level.
- Engaging in stimulating projects with intricate technology.
- Motivating and guiding project engineers through complex technical challenges.
We think you should have:
- A degree in Engineering (MSc/BSc) specializing in mechanical, piping or other relevant engineering disciplines.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience with piping engineering, preferably within subsea.
- A solid understanding of subsea codes, standards and best practices relevant the piping discipline.
- The capability to lead and propel processes forward.
- The aptitude for building relationships and a preference for working in multidisciplinary teams.
- A robust team-work ethic, demonstrating the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with diverse and international colleagues.
- Proficient language skills, particularly in written and spoken English, with Norwegian proficiency being an advantage.
