Operational Project Manager - Pharmaceutical industry

In this role you will manage the design, specifications, and installation of new and renovated process equipment for the pharmaceutical industry. You will provide technical expertise to the engineering department and support the organization with problem solving for existing equipment and manufacturing processes.

What will you be doing?

• Integration of new technologies in new and existing manufacturing lines
• Support technical improvements to control quality, capacity and safety in machines, facilities, and utilities.
• Support product and process development from a technical perspective.
• Perform technical analysis, Identify, and present concept solutions with pros and cons in relation to costs, quality, timelines, and other relevant parameters.
• Preparation of specifications for the agreed concept.
• Preparation and presentation of budget requests.
• Procurement based on specifications, collection of offers, bid comparison, negotiations, supplier evaluation, and design review.
• Establish and follow up project goals for costs, quality, and timelines.
• Supervision and monitoring of construction, installations and qualification of highly automated machines, facilities, and utilities within the scope of the project.
• Control and report project status, risks, and changes.
• As a member of the Engineering department, be a driver for continuous improvement, cost saving and strategic evaluation.

Qualification and personal skills

• Master's degree in engineering with 1-3 years' experience or BSc with 3-5 years' experience from project management.
• Knowledge of engineering principles .
• Knowledge in tools and methodologies for project management.
• Knowledge of relevant technical regulation regarding machine construction and operation.
• Knowledge of GMP guidelines and regulations for pharmaceutical industry is an advantage.
• Excellent in English and Norwegian verbal and written communication skills.
• Independent worker able to set priorities for him/herself as well as a team member.
• Good organizational and structured work skills.
• Strong collaboration skills.
