To strengthen our team, Aker Solutions team in Fornebu is looking for a Package Responsible Engineer (PRE) – Instrument Packages who can help us succeed.

What will you be doing? 

You will be working as Package Responsible Engineer (PRE) – Instrument Packages together with other colleagues in the Jackdaw project, your responsibility includes but not limited to the following:

• Verification of system design and help finish design of outstanding instrument system design
• Verify documentation given by our engineering partner to be included as part of packages deliverables
• Make the requisitions in MIPS for the instrument packages
• Follow up supplier and our engineering partner with regards to technical issues
• Review and quality assurance of packages documentation and ensure that supplier delivers according to plan
• Support our engineering partner with input to the engineering database for the instrument packages

We think you should have some of the following:

• BSc or MSc in relevant field
• 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in instrument design engineering (instrumentation, instrument valves, tubing, bulk items and ATEX)
• The ability to work in a team across disciplines
• Documented EPC/EPMA project experience
• Ability to execute and take responsibility for the projects you are involved in A solution-orientated approach with a strong technical interest
• Software Skills Description: Microsoft office tools, MIPS
• Self-driven and proactive
• Fluent English, written and spoken

Working location: Fornebu, Oslo
Contract duration: June 2024 with option for extension
