Jotun is seeking a new Global Digital Content Responsible
Our Global Marketing department is now looking for a new colleague to fill the position as Global Digital Content Responsible. The position is a part of our decorative segment which consists of our portfolio of products related to decorative paints for indoor and outdoor use.
In this position, you will make sure Jotun provides the best online shopping experience within the decorative category and continuously improve our digital KPIs to increase Jotun's revenue.
You will enhance our global digital products, Search Engine Optimalization (SEO), analytics tracking and content on a daily basis. As a global content responsible you will work closely with all our Regional Marketing teams to provide our users with an immersive experience, with high-quality content and data, in more than 50 countries and 15 languages.
The position offers varied responsibilities and challenging tasks in an international and supportive work environment. Based on this we are looking for a candidate that has an interest in, and understanding of, working with different cultures and across country borders. We also think you will have good chances of enjoying this position if you like to work with both day-to-day “maintenance tasks” as well as more long-term tasks and projects. It is also considered positive if you have an analytical mindset and have a good understanding of marketing communication.
The position will be located at our company headquarters in Sandefjord, Norway.
Job responsibilities
Working in the digital content team you will be a strong contributor who makes sure Jotun Decorative's global digital product development constantly adds business value by managing the product backlogs in an efficient way according to the product goals.
Other responsibilities will be:
- Manage and coordinate global content creation on our global website and in our Product Information Management System.
- Gather user insight and constantly improve our digital KPI's, the content and user experience, in close cooperation with the Regional Content Editors.
- Provide content support, training sessions and create instructions and guidelines.
- Manage the product backlogs in an efficient way according to the product goals.
- Communicate our business needs and have a close dialogue with the development team using agile methodology.
- Prepare and act on behalf of the Jotun.com B2C Product Owner in ceremonies within the Scrum Framework.
- Identify, describe, test and act on content needs, conversions, lead generation, SEO requirements, analytics tracking and tech improvements.
- Address potential issues and take action to make sure we are GDPR compliant.
- Contribute to new global projects when needed.
- Bulk content work when needed.
What we are looking for
- BSc or higher within a relevant field, preferably within marketing and/or economy
- You are a hands-on content manager with more than 5 years of digital experience, preferably working with complex multilanguage websites.
- Preferably you are Scrum Product Owner certified.
- You identify and seize commercial opportunities through analytics and user testing and act on the insight yourself if it is content-related or create a well-defined user story for the development team.
- You see yourself as a "digital janitor" who never gets tired of making both small and big improvements, fixes and supports content editors to achieve long-term goals.
- Preferably you have long experience working with relevant software: Google Analytics tools, and preferably with Optimizely CMS, Hotjar, Dev Ops, Figma, AI, chatbots, global PIM solutions.
