As a ‘VP Strategic Projects, you will belong to the Organization (Org) department and have two primary focus areas.

The Org department consists of 24 highly motivated professionals who are dedicated to further reMarkable as a great company and ensure continued growth and professionalization. We are responsible for several critical domains and cooperate cross-functionally within the department, as well as across the organization.

• As VP Strategic Projects you will lead our international expansion efforts from strategy to execution, ensuring reMarkable is set up for success through managing the impact expansion will have on the organization. You will, through alignment with our go-to-market strategies, embody an entrepreneurial spirit characterized by ownership, accountability, strong commercial sense, and be the driving force in this area.
• Furthermore, you will be responsible for a portfolio of large and small Org projects which will help further the professionalization of the department and reMarkable. You will have an integral role in driving projects that pull on relevant people and stakeholders across both the department and organization as a whole in order for Org to be able to adapt to a changing landscape and increased demand. In doing so you will cooperate with many subject areas and be a key enabler for long term success.

Your responsibilities as VP Strategic Projects & Internationalization:

Driving the international expansion agenda, strategy & execution

You will be collaborating closely with the leaders in various departments including the Org department to set a international expansion strategic roadmap aligned with top corporate strategy, and ensure implementation at the right time and order. Facilitating collaboration, and managing key stakeholders across the different functional areas will be critical for success. This also implies you will own the budgets needed to execute the plan, create business cases and risk assessments as well as involve external stakeholders.

Project management across Org department

You will be the Project owner for a variety of projects driven by the Org department and at all times maintain a portfolio of projects - ranging from Org department improvement projects, crafting internal strategies, change management, setting up partnerships or run projects needed to set the organization up for success when having an international footprint. Utilizing a range of project management methodologies and best practices will be needed.This includes finding the right project teams, aligning on goals, tracking progress, ensuring all relevant stakeholders are involved at the right time throughout execution of projects, mitigate risks and remove blockers to ensure project success. In other words, you will be the embodiment of project excellence.

Team leadership

We are currently recruiting for a Project Manager that will be reporting directly to you. We envision that you will have the opportunity to build a team as the organization is growing and needs more resources to support expansion.

Part of Org leadership team

The Org leadership team consists of 5 senior leaders responsible for their own business areas within Org: People & Culture, Talent Acquisition, Workplace Experience, Organizational Development and Org projects & Internationalization, all contributing to setting the Org department up for success. This includes being a strong contributor in setting the department strategy, being involved in strategic initiatives and aligning different projects as well as supporting OKR processes, running the department, and other Organizational deliverables.
