What will you be doing?

• Carrying out 3D modelling and performing area design such as:
• cable ladder/tray design (including support)
• electrical room design
• lighting design (including calculations)
• field design, penetrations, nodal design, cable routing
• cable/termination/loop engineering
• tubing and fittings
• instrument process hook-ups
• pneumatic/hydraulic distributions
• Reviewing vendor information for equipment package interface and implementing it into area design
• Following-up tie-in and hook-up activities affecting EIT disciplines
• Ensuring implementation of statutory requirements, design basis, specifications, standards, internal work instructions, and corporate requirements
• Reporting progress to the discipline lead on activities and deliverables against the project schedule

We think you should have:

• Preferably Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, a long relevant experience can compensate for lack of formal education
• 5+years of relevant experience with area design in an EPC environment
• Relevant industry experience can be oil/gas, renewables, consultancy or from complex civil constructions. Experience or practice from shipyards or other installation companies is an advantage
• Good knowledge of typical EIT equipment used in the oil and gas industry
• Experience from PDMS/E3D or BIM
• Experience with teamwork, also with teams from different locations
