Vissim is a software developer and system integrator within the offshore and maritime awareness industries. We are searching for an experienced Marketing & Communication Specialist to join our team. Our ideal candidate has the ability to translate data and research into actionable marketing plans and execute these. You should feel comfortable working independently with all aspects of marketing, and have a genuine interest in gaining knowledge about our products and technology.

Responsibilities:

• Perform market research to gather strategic insights, facilitating informed decision-making across all offices
• Drive content creation and automation for leads across all offices and business units
• Write and design commercial and technical content
• Execute marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment with our global strategy and brand identity
• Generate comprehensive performance reports
• Manage and continually refine annual strategic marketing plans, ensuring they align with corporate objectives and market dynamics
• Develop global marketing and communication strategies that resonate across all our branches
• Coordinate events and various marketing activities, enhancing brand visiblilty and audience engagement

Skills and qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a marketing specialist or manager
• Excellent in content management
• B2B experience
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Curiousity and interest for tech
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Ads/Analytics, SEO and CMS
• Knowledge with WordPress is a plus
• Autonomous

The position reports to SVP Maritime Awareness. The headquarter is in Horten, but we also have an office in Lysaker. If you live in Oslo region you must travel to Horten at least 1 day a week during the onboarding period.

Norwegian skills are not required, but you have to live in Norway at the moment.
