The position

• Give expert advice within climate and nature analytics that provides data and forecasting to shape the ambitions of Equinor’s Energy Transition Plan.
• Develop tools to visualize the progress towards Equinor’s net zero ambition.
• Work on climate and low carbon related issues to close knowledge gaps, qualify technology, develop governance, strategies and provide specialist support.

• Greenhouse gas emissions reporting (scope 1, 2 and 3).
• Circular economy.
• Nature and climate based solutions.

You

• Master's degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 5-10+ years of relevant experience.
• A strong personal commitment and expertise within sustainability and the energy transition.
• An understanding of carbon accounting and greenhouse gas emissions.
• Knowledge of nature based solutions  and/or circular economy is advantageous.
• Applicants with programming skills (R or Python) highly desired.
• Strong ability to communicate and collaborate across multiple interfaces.
• Strong collaboration skills with ability to deliver in teams with an analytical and strategic mind-set.
