Medisinsk avdeling i AstraZeneca Norge søker en Medisinsk rådgiver innen fagfeltet Kardiovaskulære, Renale og Metabole sykdommer. Et aktuelt område i denne stilling kan være å ha fokus på blødningskomplikasjoner av oral antikoagulasjonsbehandling, men og andre deler av terapiområdet.
What you’ll do
We are looking for a Medical Advisor within CVRM (Cardiovascular, Renal and Metabolic diseases) to join our team. This role is field based in Norway.
Join a team passionate about driving innovation and changing clinical practice in Norway. Our diverse medical affairs team shares expertise generously for the benefit of all team members. With an exciting pipeline, we are poised to make positive changes in the daily lives of our patients. As a field-based Medical Advisor, you will implement medical activity plans for AstraZeneca’s marketed products and compounds in development. You will translate scientific knowledge into strategies that support business success and enhance decision making. Are you ready to be a part of this dynamic team?
You will conduct medical/scientific exchange activities to increase comprehension of relevant clinical data, develop understanding of therapeutic areas and clinical practice to impact strategy, enhance engagement with external partners, and support scientific programs that explore unmet medical needs in priority disease areas. You will collaborate with both internal and external partners to improve clinical practice.
In order to succeed, you have:
- Advanced scientific degree, preferably Master’s Degree, in life sciences or a related area
- Expertise in cardiovascular, renal, and metabolic disease areas.
- Pro-active approach with respect to engaging national external partners
- Strong knowledge of population health, clinical care pathway implementation and Cardiovascular-Renal-Metabolic disease management.
- Proven expertise in discussing scientific content and context to a variety of audiences.
- Excellent understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, health care systems and payer structures in the Nordic countries.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, proficient in both written and spoken Norwegian and English.
- Ability to travel
- Driver’s license required
Desirable Skills/Experience:
- 2+ years of experience from medical affairs
- Clinical and/or research experience within the relevant therapeutic area
- Strong leadership and management capabilities
- Experience launching new products or indications
- Knowledge of information/technology systems including EMR integration and clinical process improvement and care pathway optimization
