Do you want to work for Enhanced Drilling? We are looking for a Senior System Engineer!
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibility within multi discipline equipment and systems development, upgrades, and reliability monitoring.
The Senior System Engineer will give assistance in operation support, system testing, maintenance, procurement, project management and training.
Other responsibilities include:
- Follow engineering standards and processes
- Act as primary technical interface with clients, as required
- Lead FEED studies, development projects, delivery projects, etc.
- Contribute in engineering meetings and multidiscipline reviews
- Make necessary engineering calculations to support product selection/recommendation.
- Develop technical documentation, e.g. specifications, procedures, schematics, diagrams, drawings, etc.
- Lead 3rd party outsourced work and follow up, engineering, production and documentation.
- Provide engineering support during fabrication, assembly and testing, either at 3rd party or within EDR
- Assist in training personnel for Enhanced Drilling technologies
- Lead/assist in incremental development of the asset fleet
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience
- Minimum Bachelor of Science within Electro, Automation, Systems Engineering, Subsea Technology or other relevant education
- Overall multi discipline competence within Rotating equipment, Process, Control System and Instrumentation
- Experience within power supply systems, transformers, VSDs and electrical motors
- Overall understanding of drilling process and subsea equipment
- Knowledge of relevant offshore and subsea regulations and standards, ATEX/NORSOK/IEC etc.
- Preferred well control understanding and Fluid dynamics
- Master English, both verbal and written
