Aker Carbon Capture is one of the leading companies globally that has extensive knowledge of the entire CCUS value chain. We have many ongoing projects, from concept studies to large EPC, both in Europe and in the United States. Today, we are delivering seven carbon capture units in Europe, with an accumulated capture capacity of 1 million tonnes of CO2. In Denmark, we are delivering five Just Catch 100 units to Ørsted, in the Netherlands one Just Catch 100 unit to Twence, and in Norway a Big Catch to Heidelberg Materials.

Are you an experienced and dedicated Senior Buyer, with a strong passion for making a difference in the world and believe that technology is part of the solution to solve climate change?

Aker Carbon Capture is experiencing a high demand for our services and need to strengthen our capabilities across the organization. We are now looking to further strengthen our team by adding a Senior Buyer.

As Senior Buyer you will:

• Build strategy for packages and follow the strategy to ensure deliver from a Green Supply Chain on cost, HSSE, Quality within the agreed delivery time
• Be a part of our project teams from study to delivery
• Cooperate with suppliers to maximize the use of available industry solutions
• Work closely with engineering to ensure that standard solutions can be used in our delivery
• Act as key contact in ACC for a group of suppliers

You have:

• Analytic mindset with proven negotiation skills
• Bachelor degree in relevant business or engineering (or similar) with minimum 5 years’ experience
• Strong HSSE mindset, with a drive to improve the carbon footprint of our operations
• Experience from work in an international environment
• Experience from working within Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, experience with Microsoft Dynamics is preference

You are:

• Self-contained and motivated, with a passion for environmental projects
• Systematic and flexible regarding work tasks
• People oriented with the ability to create a safe, goal oriented, and innovative work environment
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Relevant experience might compensate for lower formal education
