GE Vingmed Ultrasound AS, a part of GE HealthCare, is a world leader in medical ultrasound imaging with main offices in Horten and satellite offices in Oslo and Trondheim. We are now seeking an automation developer to strengthen our Handheld Ultrasound R&D team. You will join a global team of highly motivated expert engineers with a focus on topics such as ultrasound data acquisition, signal and image processing and algorithm development.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement automation scripts for iOS and Android app connecting to wireless ultrasound probes

• Execute automated and manual testing and verification of product changes

• Perform acoustic power measurements of wireless ultrasound probes in the acoustic lab

• Drive world-class quality in the development and support of products

• Apply principles of SDLC and methodologies like Lean/Agile/XP, CI, Software and Product Security, Scalability, Documentation Practices, refactoring and Testing Techniques

Qualifications

• Holding a Degree in Computer Science or STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with experience.

• Experience with automation tools like Squish, Appium, Python or similar
