About the role

Viking Footwear is hiring an eCommerce Manager. This role entails hands-on management of our multi-language B2C websites and related tasks from our head office in Oslo, Norway. What you will be doing

The eCommerce Manager will report to our Chief Digital Officer (CDO) and be responsible for:

• Managing day-to-day website operations and online trading
• Merchandising the website and assisting in forecasting seasonal stock needs
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide a best-in-class shopping experience
• Supporting digital marketing activities to acquire, convert, and retain customers
• Overseeing third-party agencies, raising tickets, and following up on tasks when necessary
• Contributing to the development of our loyalty program and related initiatives
• Managing a small eCommerce team, including customer services
• Monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on key metrics to ensure targets are achieved
• Assisting the CDO with eCommerce projects and other related tasks as needed

What you bring

  A minimum of four years' experience as an eCommerce Manager, preferably in a customer-centric lifestyle brand
• Strong working knowledge of WordPress, a CRM like Klaviyo, and Google Analytics
• Hands-on experience with Centra or other headless eCommerce platforms
• Good understanding of SEO
• Solid Excel skills and proficiency in other Microsoft Office applications.
• Fluency in English and one Scandinavian language
• Enthusiasm, passion, and a drive to develop a best-in-class online customer proposition
• Skills in Meta Business Suite, HTML, marketplace management, and proficiency in the German language are highly valued, though not mandatory
