We are currently seeking: 

Procurement Manager – Fleet

This role involves overseeing and enhancing the procurement and logistics processes for both onshore and onboard LNG/FSRU fleets. The main responsibilities include managing supplier agreements, monitoring the supplier market, concluding audits, and ensuring smooth purchasing operations across teams in different locations.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible to maintain, improve and oversee implementation of efficient procurement and logistics processes and routines in ashore and onboard the LNG/FSRU fleets
• Responsible for LNG Fleet supplier agreements and the designated Group agreements; including follow up, renewal and/or new negotiations
• Conduct spend analysis to provide insights for optimizing department and group spend
• Follow up changes on the supplier market and maintain relations with the company’s domestic and international associates
• Carry out supplier audits/visits as required
• Ensure consistent and effective operation of the purchasing processes across the fleet teams including alignment with technical departments
• Be the main liaison between Oslo fleet teams and purchasing teams in Rio/Manila
• Identify and manage Supply Chain risks, advise on impacts and possible mitigations

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor degree within relevant field
• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience within procurement
• Experience from marine industry is preferable
• Knowledge and experience in procurement of technical products is preferable
• Good command of English language

Personal qualities: 

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with cultural awareness
• Proactive, with a strong personal drive
• Experience from negotiation would be an advantage
• Attention to details
• Good analytical skills
