We are highly skilled and comprehensive design team based in Drammen, actively seeking an experienced Senior Design Engineer specializing in electrical engineering.

Delta Norway is at the forefront of developing cutting-edge rectifiers and inverters for the global market, specifically tailored for 5G networks and hyperscale data centers. The selected electrical engineer will collaborate within an integrated design team, comprising experts in electrical, firmware, mechanical, PCB, and testing disciplines. Our well-equipped laboratory facility facilitates productive partnerships with other proficient design teams across Europe and Asia.

Key Responsibilities:

• Formulating topology selections, magnetics design, power circuitry, and protection circuitry
• Careful selection and testing of critical components
• Developing schematic designs
• Performing design simulations using Simetrix
• Calculating losses and assessing efficiency
• Overseeing thermal management
• Creating PCB drafts and strategically placing key components
• Implementing digital control engineering
• Ensuring compliance with customer requirements and safety standards
• Crafting designs that adhere to reliability standards
• Conducting thorough layout reviews

The Ideal Candidate:

• Possesses a robust M.Sc. in electrical engineering, particularly in the field of power electronics
• Demonstrates extensive experience in grid-connected converters
• Exhibits proficiency in digital control systems
• Enjoys hands-on work in both practical laboratory settings and simulations
• This position is also open to recent graduates.
