Production Superintendent Onshore Côte d'Ivoire

The Production Superintendent will be responsible for the safe delivery of production targets within budget. The role is onshore based, and will maintain daily contact with the Voyageur FPSO and Brasilia FSO, as onshore point of contact for the provision of support and technical solutions to production or operational issues.

Furthermore, the Production Superintendent will play a key role in establishing and developing a successful operations team supporting the Voyageur FPSO and Brasilia FSO in Côte d'Ivoire.

Some of the things you will be doing

• Act as focal point for client’s reservoir management requirements
• Planning, coordinating and ensuring execution of an appropriate response to all production/operations issues on board the FPSO
• Providing short term production/process solutions, undertaking operational investigations and recommending process improvements
  
• Conducting regular offshore visits in support of operations
  
• Regularly reviews the performance of 3 rd contractors
  
• Ensuring that all operational procedures, performance standards systems and processes are up to date
  
• Provide support to the asset Operations Team, interfacing with external 3rd Parties in areas of technical enquiry, regulatory compliance, and provision of services
  
• In liaison with the Asset Manager, OIM and section leaders - help facilitate an offshore environment conducive to safe and efficient operations
  
• Promote a culture which aligns with Altera values
  
• Asset support to ensure production and environmental equipment remains operational now and for future operational needs

What we are looking for

• B.Sc.in a relevant technical discipline, ideally mechanical or electrical engineering OR as a
  minimum a Higher National Certificate in a relevant technical discipline combined with
  several years’ experience in a similar role
• Someone who has held a senior supervisory position offshore on an Ivory Coast / North Sea or International manned production installation – ideally on a floating production installation
• Alternatively have held a similar onshore role within a similar industry e.g., Class surveyor office environment in support of production operations
• Someone who is able to demonstrate a familiarity with the regulatory requirements for offshore
  installations
• Knowledge and experience with Class systematics and Flag State regimes as well as
  interacting with Classification Societies and Flag State bodies, e.g. ship superintendent,
  classification society surveyor, etc.
• Excellent teamwork, interpersonal and communication skills
  
• Fluent in English business language. Ability to speak French would be advantageous
  
• Flexible to travel to other business locations as required
