To strengthen our team, Aker Solutions in Fornebu is looking for an Electrical Heat Trace Design Engineer who can help us succeed.

What will you be doing? 

You will be working as Electrical Heat Trace Design Engineer together with other colleagues in the Valhall project, your responsibility includes but not limited to the following:

• Conduct Heat Trace calculation and design
• Produce relevant Heat Trace package documentation and report
• Update engineering register in COMOS software
• Create isometric drawing through E3D
• Prepare Heat Trace work packs
• Prepare heat Trace installation details

We think you should have some of the following:

• BSc degree in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 10 years relevant experience with Heat Tracing calculations and design preferably in an EPC project in Oil & Gas industry
• Multidiscipline understanding (process, piping, insulation, field instrumentation)
• Software skills: TraceCalc, E3D, Autocad, Comos
• Fluent in both Norwegian and English (written and oral)

Working location: Fornebu, Oslo
Contract duration: from January 2024 to February 2025 with option for extension
