Are you our new Commercial Pricing Manager?
Primary function of the Commercial Pricing Manager, is to define pricing strategies and relevant price books, and ensure pricing is tracked and meets these goals. This position is also responsible for ensuring the effective standardization of commercial processes and approaches to pricing within Oceaneering’s SSR Business Group. Defines and delivers requisite training for all commercial functions, and ensures the adoption of best practice routines, processes, documentation of commercial and pricing detail.
Functions
- Works with all Business Group commercial managers, to ensure a commonality in process and documentation where possible.
- Works with Business Groups Product Managers to assist with the implementation of pricing guidelines and the tracking of pricing initiatives.
- Drive implementation of appropriate best practices in each business group.
- Establishes and implements effective training programs to enable an effective commercial team.
- Aligns Oceaneering’s commercial functions with standardized Performance Dashboards, and Management Routines.
- Assists with Cross Business Group Commercial proposals where ratification of approach and pricing is required.
- Coordinates the effective implementation of commercial targets and KPI’s to measure commercial performance.
- Sets goals and objectives for the use and development of Customer Relationship Management.
Coordinate identification of value propositions and go to market for new product lines.
- Other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
Qualifications (Regional Variance Required)
REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering or related area required.
- Two (2+) plus years of related experience with progressive management experience.
- Demonstrated experience leading a sales organization required.
DESIRED
- Master’s degree in business administration preferred.
- Five (5+) plus years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry
