This role will drive growth for our products and services with a major Norwegian operator. Sales of existing and new technologies to assets teams in the drilling and wells organization. Networking and interaction with technology champions, reservoir and stimulation experts to facilitate interest and adoption of NOVs technology platforms. NOV Completion Tools is already established with a long-term framework agreement with the operator, and multiple installation of our key solutions, now it is all about expanding the revenue from this account.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Proactively facilitate account meetings with key stakeholders within various technical disciplines
- Present and advice account stakeholders on Completion Tools technologies and solutions portfolio
- Develop relationship with account stakeholders to understand their current and future technology needs
- Understand competitive technologies and client’s drivers, identifying areas for product development ensuring NOV is at the forefront of the market development
- Maintain a robust sales and opportunity pipeline for client
- Monitor client issues, feedback, deadlines, and deliverables and ensure customer satisfaction
- Manage and drive the sales cycle of key opportunities to realize company growth
- Lead tenders, contract negotiations and account KPI meetings
- Provide sales leadership throughout the bidding phase by working in conjunction with Project and Applications support teams
- Network with account stakeholders to represent NOV
- Prepare technical proposals, quotes, schematics, operational guidelines, and other documentation
- Responsible for ensuring structured handovers of confirmed sales projects internally
- Maintain opportunity pipeline in ERP and Project management system
- Provide input on forecasts and annual planning for assigned customers
- Other duties may be added to the position
QUALIFICATIONS
- Technical education B.Sc or M.Sc in Petroleum Engineering or other relevant discipline
EXPERIENCE
- 5+ years of relevant work experience in well construction, well completion or intervention
- Experience with contract management, tenders, and negotiations
- Proven track record of successful business development & technology implementation
SKILLS, TRAINING AND SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE
- Excellent communication, presentation, networking, and project management skills
- Customer oriented with a strong commercial mindset and understanding of technical requirements and drivers within drilling and wells
- Solutions oriented with the ability and interest to acquire a detailed understanding of Completion Tools’ technologies and applications in our customer’s wells
- Understanding of mechanical engineering principles
- Must be fluent in written and spoken Norwegian and English language
