To strengthen our team, Aker Solutions in Fornebu is looking for an Engineer – Piping Design Checker who can help us succeed.

What will you be doing? 

You will be working as Engineer – Piping Design Checker together with other colleagues in the Valhall project, you will be responsible for the overall performance of engineering discipline activities as Piping Design Engineer -checker and deliverables in the assigned scope, here under:

• Piping Design Engineer -checker isometrics (E3D/Navis works)
• Detail knowledge of P&ID's, PFD's and Piping design
• Co-ordination with internal and external customers
• As-built and LCI deliverables

We think you should have some of the following:

• BSc in engineering
• Good knowledge of E3D/Navis works
• Detail knowledge of Norsok and international design codes/standard for offshore industry
• Piping and Layout - iso's checker experience
• Offshore Green field experience
• Good communication skill and Team player
• Able to co-ordinate with design team and contribute/ add-value in multi discipline design activities
• Fluent in English (written and oral)

Working location: Fornebu, Oslo
Contract duration: February 2025 with option for extension
