We are looking for an Account Executive with experience in energy markets to join Volue-team!

We are looking for a knowledgeable, hardworking Account Executive with experience in energy markets and the ability to understand the overall concept of enterprise software solutions and services. If you are a result-driven and a tech-savvy individual with experience from B2B energy software industry and domain knowledge within Energy production and/or trading, this is the position for you.
You are a motivated doer. You also have great business acumen, a good sense of humor, and a drive to succeed. Our customers are some of Europe’s largest power producers, traders, and industrial electricity consumers. You will help us to grow our market share through systematic lead generation and proactive sales closing. In addition, you will have to make sure that the existing customer base is content with the solutions Volue provides. You will work together with highly motivated, competent sales and marketing colleagues as well as other internal stakeholders to understand business needs and deliver customer value.
As our next Account Executive you will be responsible for the entire customer journey from sales to retention and growth. You will manage a portfolio of customers and the main goal is to ensure that the customers are as successful as possible with the Volue solutions. This will in in turn, improve customer lifetime value for the company through low churn rates and upsell.
Within this role you will:
- Drive customer sales and growth in order to deliver and communicate ROI for our clients, throughout the customer lifecycle
- Identify and drive upsell/cross-sell opportunities for our customers
- Quarterback internal cross-functional activities to drive customer satisfaction / ROI and minimize churn
- Responsible for renewals and “win-back” activities
- Maintain a cadence of communicating with customers about their needs, requirements, market trends etc.
- Establish and maintain strategic account plans and customer meetings
- Represent the “voice of the customer”
- Develop and maintain long-term relationship with stakeholders in the customer portfolio
What you need to succeed:
Experience:
- experience from Sales, Key Account or Business Development Manager in the B2B energy software industry is a must
- Domain knowledge within Energy production and/or trading is a must
Relevant personal attributes for this position:
- Highly motivated and target driven
- Strong relationship management skills and openness to feedback
- Strong presentation, meeting facilitation, and written communication skills
- Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
- Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
- Willingness to travel to customer locations as needed
