The position
By joining our team in Exploration & Production Norway you will have the opportunity to:Deliver global services to Equinor assets within geomechanics, drilling, and production-related rock mechanics.
Geomechanics: compaction & subsidence, modeling, fault reactivation, pore volume compressibility and salt creep.
Drilling-related rock mechanics: wellbore stability, formation stress measurements, formation as barrier, stress data.
Production-related rock mechanics: injection, sand production, hydraulic stimulation.
Close collaboration with internal and external customers during planning and execution.
Deliver while you are developing new skills and knowledge in the job.
You

Master's degree or above in rock mechanics, petroleum technology, geology, geophysics, or other relevant discipline.
Experience within rock mechanics.
A data analyst mindset with experience in data management and visualisation coupled with good statistics, coding or cloud knowledge is a plus.
Knowledge to some of the following softwares; Reveal, StimPlan, DrillWorksPredict is preferred
Curiosity to learn, develop and promote continuous improvement is expected.
