The position

By joining our team in Exploration & Production Norway you will have the opportunity to:

• Deliver global services to Equinor assets within geomechanics, drilling, and production-related rock mechanics. 

• Geomechanics: compaction & subsidence, modeling, fault reactivation, pore volume compressibility and salt creep.  

• Drilling-related rock mechanics: wellbore stability, formation stress measurements, formation as barrier, stress data.  

• Production-related rock mechanics: injection, sand production, hydraulic stimulation. 

• Close collaboration with internal and external customers during planning and execution. 

• Deliver while you are developing new skills and knowledge in the job.  

You

• Master's degree or above in rock mechanics, petroleum technology, geology, geophysics, or other relevant discipline.  

• Experience within rock mechanics.  

• A data analyst mindset with experience in data management and visualisation coupled with good statistics, coding or cloud knowledge is a plus.  

• Knowledge to some of the following softwares; Reveal, StimPlan, DrillWorksPredict is preferred

• Curiosity to learn, develop and promote continuous improvement is expected.
