Our customer is a leading and large supplier of projects within oil and gas, electrification and offshore wind. Due to ongoing contracts and new contracts won, their need for more resources has increased significantly. Senior Mechanical Engineer –  Experienced PRE

Job Responsibilities:

• PRE (package responsible engineer) for mechanical equipment in studies and execution projects
• Development of technical requisitions for mechanical equipment
• Evaluate bids from vendors
• Package follow-up
• Follow-up equipment overhaul by manufacturer
• Inspections and FAT
• Input to Work Packages

Required Education:

• Bachelor degree or higher
• Technical college or similar may be acceptable with long experience

Required Work Experience:

• Minimum 3-8 years experience as PRE (package responsible engineer) for mechanical equipment
• Detailed knowledge of Equinor technical requirements

Required Qualifications

• Able to work independently as well as a part of a team.
• Multidiscipline understanding
• Good communicating skills
• A cooperative working attitude
• Be systematic, accurate and efficient.
• Creative and solution-oriented
• Have a high loyalty to deadlines and quality requirements.
• Be proactive, seeking advice and share own experience with others.

Language

• Norwegian skills, both orally and in writing is an advantage.
