Our activity is increasing and Semco Maritime’s yard at Hanøytangen, Askøy. We are therefore looking for a QHSE Manager.

In Norway, Semco Maritime AS is located at Hanøytangen and in Stavanger.

At Hanøytangen our core business is rig maintenance. We are working closely with our customers to facilitate the transition into green through different energy storage- and hybrid solutions for the rig owners. We are also actively in the marked to secure work within offshore wind. In Stavanger we supply offshore manning for the operators on the Norwegian Continental shelf. The QHSE Manager at Hanøytangen will assist in planning, organizing and facilitation of Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental programs and tasks that support company goals and requirements with the overall goal of maintaining Semco Maritimes safety culture.

Your tasks & responsibilities:

The QHSE Manager is the representative on Quality, Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental questions regarding our yard at Hanøytangen and will work closely with our local organization both in project activities and in day-to-day operations. The QHSE Manager will be a part of a QHSE Department at Hanøytangen and will report to Head of HSEQ & Improvements for Semco Maritime, Rig & Offshore Marine. The position will potentially have personnel responsibility.

Your tasks will include but are not limited to:

• Be a part of a global HSEQ organization & Local HSEQ Team
• Lead local HSEQ activities, initiatives, processes, and procedures in Semco Maritime Hanøytangen
• Lead and follow up internal and external audits
• Develop Quality plans and HSE program prior to projects hereunder implement input from various stakeholders
• Lead compliance reviews, procedure reviews, risk assessments and other safety assessments and inspections
• Measure, analyze and report QHSE data to ensure continuous improvement work at dept. Hanøytangen
• Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of applicable laws, regulations and internal organizational requirements
• Continually maintain QHSE related routines
• Facilitate for employee participation and cooperate with company’s local safety representatives
• Responsible for investigation and following up of unwanted incidents
• Participate in Customer meetings
• HSEQ coordination of activities across projects
• Be a visible QHSE resource in the organization

Your profile and qualifications:

To succeed in this position, we expect that you have the following qualifications:

• University degree or experience on a similar level
• Knowledge to regulatory requirements and quality standards
• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience from HSEQ projects within the oil and gas industry
• Experience with internal and external audits; ISO 9000, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 standards
• Good communication skills - fluent Norwegian and English
• Experience / knowledge of LEAN is desirable
