Do you want to join a team of professionals working with the latest technology within drilling automation?

Our global team of Rig Performance Consultants (RPCs) work closely with our customers, adapting new drilling automation technology to enhance performance and consistency. Collaborating with drill crews, our RPC’s ensure optimum performance through coaching and assessing the use of drilling automation, onboard customer rigs and in state of the art NOV drilling simulators.

NOV RPC’s liaise regularly with Engineering and R&D to stay updated on the latest technology and to provide feedback to improve product development. As a member of the Education Services team, you will receive training to further develop your knowledge and skills to fulfil an expert role within NOV Drilling Automation.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES : 

• Provide consultancy onboard rigs
• Provide customer reports on crew competency status and recommendations
• Conduct training onboard, on site or at Training Centers
• Develop and improve course material according to NOV standards
• Acquire knowledge on new products and the latest technology

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Technical degree desirable

EXPERIENCE :

• Experience as a Driller (Essential)

SKILLS, TRAINING & SPECIALIST KNOWLEDGE: 

• Good communication skills
• Organized and structured
• Excellent English written and oral
• Flexible in regard to offshore and onshore travel
• Computer skills
