Vice President of HR, Europe & Global HR Network
HR across Statkraft is continuously working to enable a great employee experience and build people- and organizational capabilities that are critical to deliver on Statkraft’ strategic ambitions. We are currently seeking a Vice President of HR, Europe & Global Network to deliver proactive and strategic HR advice to the Executive Vice President (EVP) BA Europe, and to lead the functional network of Local HR teams across Statkraft locations outside the Nordics (Europe, South America, Asia, and US).
In this role you will have one direct report. The position sits in the Global HR leadership team and reports to SVP Group HR.
As Vice President HR Europe & Global HR Network, you will:
- Collaborate closely with BA Europe EVP and Management team to understand the growth strategy, its implications for the workforce, and facilitate change initiatives to ensure the organization adapts smoothly to growth-related change.
- Conduct workforce planning to ensure the BA Europe organization has the right mix of skills and expertise to meet current and future demands.
- Support organizational design, development and change by championing innovation, drive cultural transformation, and guide the organization through the evolving landscape while fostering a positive and adaptive work environment.
- Develop and drive the shared HR agenda in the company, ensuring that BA Europe business needs are met.
- Be responsible for developing best practices and enhancing the HR business partner role to enable improved HR services, greater alignment with business goals, and an HR function that plays a more strategic and integral role in the company's growth agenda.
- Facilitate the delivery of high-quality and aligned HR advisory services in Statkraft by leading and coordinating a functional network of Local HR teams across Statkraft locations outside the Nordics (Europe, South America, Asia, and US).
- Promote consistent handling of employer responsibilities and ensure HR matters are handled uniformly among local HR teams in various countries.
- Nurture the feedback loop between Local HR and Group HR to facilitate learning and drive continuous improvement in joint HR services provided to leaders and employees.
Qualifications
- Higher relevant education, preferably at Master´s level
- Minimum 5-7 years experience from a leadership role
- Solid experience from senior HR positions in an international matrix organisation, working with both operational and strategic HR across cultural and geographical boundaries.
- Strong change management and HR transformation experience, including effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage stakeholders, build consensus, and drive change throughout the organization.
- Labour law/ employer responsibilities experience is an advantage
- The ability to understand the organization's overall business strategy and align HR practices and processes to support those strategic objectives.
- Proficiency in analysing HR data and trends to make informed decisions and recommendations that have a direct impact on the organization's success.
- Leadership capabilities to inspire, mentor, and coach HR professionals in their development and growth.
- High personal integrity and high ethical standards.
- Strong communication skills in English, other languages an advantage.
